Overview

AI tooling for Quayel Gateway: a portable skill package, an install guide, and a machine-oriented agent contract.

AI

Quayel Gateway is designed to be configured by AI agents. Because the whole product is one binary + one JSON config file, an agent can generate, validate, and troubleshoot a complete setup without leaving the repo. Three assets make that reliable:

The Quayel Gateway Skill

A portable Agent Skills package (SKILL.md) that teaches any AI tool to generate, validate, and troubleshoot gateway configs.

Installing the Skill

Add the skill to Claude Code or any Agent Skills compatible tool — project-scoped or user-wide.

AI Agent Guide

The full machine-oriented contract: exact config tree, all enum values, defaults, condition paths, validation loop, and recipes.

config.schema.json

JSON Schema of config.json — validate generated configs before deploying. Served at /config.schema.json.

Which one do I need?

You want to…Use
Configure the gateway from Claude Code (or similar) with no setup per taskInstall the skill
Understand what the skill teaches the agentThe Quayel Gateway Skill
Give an agent the complete, authoritative contract (works with any tool, even without skills support)AI Agent Guide
Validate a generated config in CIconfig.schema.json + the gateway's own parser
When docs disagree, precedence is: src/config/schema.rs + src/config/loader.rs (ground truth) → AI Agent Guide → the other pages here. The agent guide is verified against the source and the release binary.
